Turkey to Create Air Corridor for Arrival of Rescuers from Various Countries

The Turkish Armed Forces have announced the establishment of a special air corridor for the transportation of rescuers from other countries to the earthquake-affected region. A video has been shared on the Turkish Ministry of Defense's Twitter account, showing the movement of an emergency situations aircraft towards the disaster area.

Earlier, it was reported that the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations had announced its readiness to send two Il-76 aircraft with rescuers to Turkey to assist local emergency services in removing the consequences of the earthquake that struck Gaziantep Province. Assistance initiatives have also come from Israel, India, Kazakhstan, and the United States.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations expressed its willingness to send a group of 370 rescuers to Turkey.
