PHOTOS: Armenian Rescuers Establish Base in Turkey

Armenian rescuers are conducting search and rescue operations in the disaster zone, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“On February 8, special flights took Armenian urban search and rescue teams to Turkey and Syria, where they continue their efforts in Turkey’s Adiyaman and Syria’s Aleppo cities.

In the city of Adiyaman, the Armenian team has established a base for deployment and is carrying out search and rescue operations in various sectors.

In Aleppo, rescuers have conducted situation assessments in four sectors, while search operations in one sector are continuing with two shifts. A canine unit, specially trained with dogs, is also involved in the operations.”
