I have also condoled Turkey and I am right, because you understand that 10,000 victims among the civilian population is a calamity that we have also seen. We are Armenian, Christian, and I cannot, a human cannot remain indifferent to all this.

This was stated by the President of the National Assembly Alen Simonian during his speech in the National Assembly.

“They say there was an earthquake in Iran, you did not condole, there were three casualties, maybe we should have condoled that as well, but the whole world is mourning this situation. Even the President of the National Assembly of Cyprus has expressed condolences, you know that Turkey has occupied half of their country, and they have also condoled. And yes, they have sent aid; whether it has been accepted or not is a secondary question,” said Alen Simonian.
