Bus overturns in Turkey, casualties reported

In Turkey, a major bus accident has occurred, resulting in fatalities and injuries, according to the NTV television channel citing the police.

The bus was traveling from the city of Diyarbakır in southeastern Turkey to Bodrum, located along the Aegean coast. The incident took place near the city of Dinard in the central part of the country.

On a slippery road, the bus veered off the roadway and overturned.

As a result of the accident, at least 8 people have died and another 35 have been injured. Emergency services have arrived at the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
