Vahagn Aleksanyan Faces Financial Debt to Slavonic University and Refuses to Pay
The Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University has filed a lawsuit against National Assembly Deputy Vahagn Aleksanyan, demanding the repayment of a debt. The lawsuit was registered in court on January 25. Sources indicate that Aleksanyan attended the university for a time but did not pay for his tuition, prompting the university to seek recovery through legal means, according to Hraparak.
Vahagn Aleksanyan studied in the Faculty of Law of the mentioned university, specializing in "Constitutional Law, Theory of State and Law," but has been expelled due to academic debts amounting to 12 credits. According to the media outlet, Aleksanyan not only has academic debts but also financial obligations to the university and refuses to pay them.
Auoranews attempted to contact the university to clarify whether this pertains to tuition fees, but they stated: "The Armenian-Russian University considers that this issue is related to the university's internal procedures and we do not deem it appropriate to provide this information," said the university's press office in response to Auoranews.
We also tried to contact Vahagn Aleksanyan to verify the accuracy of the reports, but he did not respond to calls.
