Sampling Conducted at Margara Bridge in Relation to Opening Armenian-Turkish Border
In December 2022, when working groups composed of representatives from Armenia and Turkey met in the Ararat region near the Armenian-Turkish border, sampling was also conducted at the Margara Bridge, reports the newspaper "Zhoghovurd".
The newspaper sent an official inquiry to the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, requesting information on the work carried out in December and the current status of the border opening process between Armenia and Turkey.
In response to the newspaper's inquiry, the Press and Diplomacy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs replied: "The process of implementing the agreements reached during the meetings on July 1 is taking place at the level of workgroups between Armenia and Turkey. In this context, sampling has also been conducted at the Margara Bridge."
The newspaper also learned that it is currently unknown when the next meeting will be held between the representatives of Armenia and Turkey, as work is ongoing to implement previously reached agreements, and only after that will an agreement be made for a new meeting.
