Ukraine Conflict Should Not Escalate into War Between Russia and NATO: Scholz
NATO member countries will not directly participate in the Ukraine conflict, and the entire German government shares the view that escalation is unacceptable. This promise was made by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
“There is no direct participation of any NATO country in this war,” the chancellor emphasized, adding that he will do everything possible to prevent the conflict between Russia and Ukraine from escalating into a war between Russia and NATO.
The politician promised to prevent such an escalation, noting that this stance is shared by everyone in the German government, including Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
