Zelensky Sends Message to Chinese President Through His Wife

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has sent a letter containing his proposal for a peace formula to Chinese President Xi Jinping through his wife, hoping for a personal response.

In response, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin stated that Beijing is working to advance negotiations.
"On the issue of the Ukrainian crisis, China has always actively worked to promote peaceful negotiations," Wang said during a press conference.

Earlier, Andriy Yermak, the head of Zelensky's office, announced that Kyiv is hopeful for cooperation with China against Russia and is already working on this issue. President Xi Jinping himself emphasized that his country supports the promotion of peaceful negotiations.
