Armenia's Security is Iran's Security: Iranian Ambassador to Armenia

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri, reaffirmed that Armenia's security is Iran's security. According to Armenpress, the ambassador emphasized this during a brief conversation with reporters in Syunik, referring to the earlier statements made by the Iranian Foreign Minister that Iran considers the security of Armenia and the region as its own security.

The ambassador pointed out that Iran pursues a policy with all its neighboring countries aimed at developing cooperation in all directions. "Armenia is our neighboring, friendly country. This policy also applies to Armenia. The Foreign Minister mentioned that Armenia's security is Iran's security. Iran's position has always been that the independence and territorial integrity of countries must be respected, including Armenia's and others', in accordance with international law," said Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri.

He noted that cooperation and ties between Armenia and Iran are developing in all directions.
