Iran and Russia to Start Joint Automobile Production
The official representative of Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Trade, Omid Ghalibaf, has stated in an interview with RIA Novosti that Tehran does not rule out the creation of a joint venture with Russia for automobile production.
“The joint production of vehicles and the opening of a factory in Iran or Russia depends on how successfully we can export our cars to Russia and penetrate its market, as well as how well Iranian models will be accepted in Russia,” said Ghalibaf.
According to him, after obtaining this data, the country will begin to explore the potential for investing in joint production and the development of the automotive market in Russia.
