Cash Withdrawal Limits for ATMs and POS Terminals in Artsakh
In the Republic of Artsakh, changes have been implemented regarding the regulation of cash circulation starting today. This has been announced by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
Specifically, a limit will apply for cash withdrawals using the same payment card from all ATMs and POS terminals in the Republic of Artsakh, capped at 50,000 AMD per day.
The option for cash withdrawals will be available for any bank card through the ATMs and POS terminals operating in Artsakh. Due to the blockade imposed by Azerbaijan, issues related to cash circulation had arisen in Artsakh. The withdrawal of large amounts of cash by the population had reduced the overall cash circulation.
During a meeting of the operational headquarters, the Minister of State had instructed measures to be taken to address the issue.
