Global Economic Growth to Slow Sharply: What Awaits Armenia
According to the World Bank's forecasts, Armenia's GDP growth in 2023 is projected to be 4.1%, and it will increase to 4.8% in 2024. This is mentioned in the World Bank's "Global Economic Prospects Report (January 2023)."
The report indicates that global economic growth is expected to slow sharply due to high inflation and interest rates, reduced investments, and disruptions caused by the Ukraine-Russia conflict. In 2023, it will decelerate to 1.7% (down from the previously expected 3%), with 2024 growth reaching 2.5%.
