“The US Armenian Advocacy Committee Has Addressed the UN”: Kristine Vardanian
Deputy Kristine Vardanian of the Armenian National Assembly’s “Hayastan” faction stated on her Facebook page: “Yesterday, the US Armenian Advocacy Committee (ANCA) appealed to the UN, calling for humanitarian supplies to be delivered to Artsakh via air routes. Today, the members of the Artsakh National Assembly have also sent a similar appeal to the international community in a letter, which specifically states: ‘We call on the civilized world, particularly the co-chairing countries of the Minsk Group, to take concrete actions toward either opening the corridor or operating an air bridge through the Stepanakert airport, which would allow for alleviating the humanitarian crisis currently faced in Artsakh during the winter season.’
A campaign has already gained considerable traction on Twitter regarding this issue, and you too can join by helping to convey this demand. We are also exerting all diplomatic efforts at our disposal to ensure that the demands from Artsakh are delivered to all parties involved.”
