March Will Become a Month of Intensified Military Operations: Statement from Ukraine
Kiev plans to intensify combat operations in the spring. This was stated by Kiril Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, in an interview with ABC News. “These months will be the hottest in military terms,” he replied to the reporter’s question about expectations for the next six months of the conflict.
Budanov expects that March will become the month of the most brutal military operations. He noted that Ukraine is planning to conduct a serious offensive in the spring. He also mentioned that Putin is seriously ill.
“Russia's weapons are running out, forcing the country to resort to cheaper solutions such as Iranian drones. Russia no longer poses a military threat to the world; this is simply a fabrication, and what remains is only the nuclear arsenal and an uncontrollable regime that will make the entire world understand the necessity of Russia’s denuclearization,” Budanov stated.
When asked about attacks on Crimea, Budanov responded, “Crimea is Ukrainian territory; we can use any weapons on our territory.” The head of Ukraine's military intelligence also expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the United States. He noted that they expect American Bradley fighting vehicles to be sent to Ukraine in the near future.
