Parts of Iranian Drones Used by Russia Made by American Companies, CNN Reports

Iranian kamikaze drones employed by the Russian military in recent months to attack Ukrainian infrastructure are primarily made from components produced by American companies. This was reported by CNN.

At the same time, Adrienne Watson, a spokesperson for the U.S. National Security Council, told CNN that the Biden administration is assessing the possibility of introducing new sanctions and export restrictions against the companies supplying Iran with parts used in drone manufacturing.

According to available data, the Russian army began using kamikaze drones against Ukraine last fall. In Kyiv, it is stated that these are mainly Iranian-produced Shahed-type drones.
