Cavusoglu and Israeli Foreign Minister Hold Phone Conversation
Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has held a telephone conversation with his Israeli counterpart, Eli Cohen. Cavusoglu emphasized the importance of preserving the status of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to Ermenihaber.
The Turkish minister congratulated Cohen on his appointment as Foreign Minister.
Regarding the recent events surrounding the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Cavusoglu described them as "provocative and unacceptable." During the phone call, the two ministers agreed to work together to improve Turkey-Israel relations.
