What Lavrov and Israel's Foreign Minister Discussed

Israel's new Foreign Minister Eli Cohen has announced that he had a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on January 3. During the call, the diplomats discussed the bilateral relations between their countries and also addressed regional issues.

“I finished the conversation with Russian Minister Lavrov, who called me to congratulate me on assuming office,” the Israeli minister wrote in his post on Twitter. He noted that the foreign ministers of the two countries discussed a range of bilateral and regional issues, as well as the relations between the two nations.
