“We want Armenia to clasp the hand of peace and friendship extended by Azerbaijan and Turkey, to refrain from provocations, and to focus on peaceful negotiations,” stated Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, as reported by Azerbaijani media.
In the Turkish city of Kayseri, Minister Akar hosted his Azerbaijani and Georgian counterparts. During the trilateral meeting, officials from the neighboring countries discussed the security situation in the region as well as ongoing programs and prospects for cooperation in a trilateral format.
“It is vital for all of us to further expand strategic cooperation and the collaboration between our countries,” stated the head of Turkey's defense ministry.
