Reports of Gas Supply Disruptions in Artsakh are False
Natural gas supply in Artsakh continues uninterrupted, and reports of disruptions in gas supply are not true. This was announced by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
"We urge the population to follow only official information and not to believe in false news circulating on social media," the statement said.
It is noted that from 10:30 AM on December 12, the communication of the villages of Lisagor, Mets Shen, Hin Shen, and Yeghkadzor in the Shushi region with the capital Stepanakert has been interrupted. A group of Azerbaijani civilians again blocked the Stepanakert-Goris highway under the pretext of environmental reasons. The Azerbaijani side also cut off gas supply to Artsakh on December 13.
An operational headquarters has been established under the leadership of Artsakh’s State Minister Ruben Vardanyan, which will operate 24/7 to coordinate activities in response to the situation created by the blockade of the road connecting Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Starting from December 14, protests have begun near the representations and embassies of various institutions in Armenia.
Additionally, during a government meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Azerbaijan continues to implement a policy of “Nagorno-Karabakh without Armenians,” and the Armenian side must do everything possible for this policy to receive proper international assessment.
In the early morning of December 16, the State Minister of Artsakh announced that the gas supply to Artsakh has been restored.
