Apresean on the Situation in Askeran: 'We Have Only Applied for Fuel Distribution'
Due to the blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan, which connects it to Armenia and the outside world, a round-the-clock operational headquarters has been established in the Askeran region to appropriately address and timely resolve the issues arising from this situation. This was stated by the head of the regional administration, Hamlet Apresean, in a conversation with a correspondent from Artsakhpress.
"To prevent a possible increase in the prices of essential goods and to distribute fuel according to a special regime, control is being exercised. Since the day of the blockade until today, bakeries have been operating in the region. Bread and other types of essential goods are currently sufficient in the region. Constant communication is maintained with the operational headquarters established in the capital. Accordingly, requests for the necessary materials are submitted if needed. We have only applied for the distribution of gasoline for individuals in urgent need of medical assistance," the head of the regional administration specified.
