Free Movement Through the Corridor Must Be Restored as Soon as Possible: Swiss Foreign Ministry
Switzerland is concerned about the developments surrounding the Lachin corridor. This was stated by Anna Ifkovich, head of the Eurasia department of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, on her Twitter page.
"Free movement through the corridor must be restored as soon as possible, and negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan should be resumed to resolve all outstanding issues," she noted.
It is important to recall that since December 12 at 10:30 AM, the connection between the villages of Lisagor, Mets Shen, Hin Shen, and Yeghdzahogh in the Shushi region has been interrupted with the capital Stepanakert. A group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothing has again blocked the Stepanakert-Goris highway, citing environmental reasons.
On December 13, the Azerbaijani side also cut off gas supply to Artsakh.
