What Ruben Vardanyan Directed During the Working Consultation
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, led a working consultation today. The agenda included discussions about the situation created by Azerbaijan's closure of the road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, as well as the blockade of gas supply to Artsakh, as reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
The Prime Minister was briefed on the current situation regarding fuel supply in the republic. The steps to be taken in light of the shortages of gas, diesel fuel, and gasoline were also discussed. Emphasis was placed on the efficient use of existing resources.
Ruben Vardanyan instructed that a mechanism and procedures for fuel supply be urgently developed and clearly defined for essential services, including emergency response, public transportation, and special services.
Another topic discussed was ensuring the uninterrupted operation of bread-producing facilities that consume gas, as well as other production units aimed at meeting the vital needs of the population.
The Prime Minister directed the responsible sector officials to propose solutions for ensuring their operation through alternative fuel sources.
During the consultation, issues related to the living conditions and food provision of Artsakh residents currently in Armenia due to the road blockage were also addressed, and respective instructions were given regarding their problems.
