This is nothing but another attempt at the extermination of the Armenian population of Artsakh. This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, on his Twitter page, addressing the closure of the Stepanakert-Goris highway by Azerbaijanis and the resulting situation.

The Speaker specifically wrote: “Civilians in military uniforms, calling themselves ‘environmentalists,’ have effectively taken 120,000 Armenian residents hostage by closing the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia. This was followed by the disconnection of gas supply to Artsakh. This is nothing but another attempt at the extermination of the Armenian population of Artsakh. Will the world remain silent again...?”
