Numerous Threats Made Against Me: Harutyunyan Comments on Azerbaijani Closure of Lachin Corridor
The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, announced at an extraordinary session of the Artsakh National Assembly that Azerbaijan's request is far from being environmentally motivated, referring to the closure of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijanis since yesterday.
According to him, Azerbaijan has reacted painfully to the recent rally in Stepanakert, the appointment of Ruben Vardanyan as the Minister of State, and his visit to France. “They have formed a stereotype that we have reconciled with social and domestic issues and will abandon our national self-determination policy. But such a large rally and the visit to France were shocking for Azerbaijan. There have even been numerous threats made against me, and so on,” he stated.
