Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan has submitted a resignation request, Tert.am reports, citing its sources. The media outlet notes that the government is expected to make an official announcement shortly.
It is worth mentioning that Hambardzum Matevosyan was appointed as the Governor of Armavir Province on October 16, 2018, by a decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. He was relieved of his duties as Governor on November 24, 2021, and appointed to the position of Deputy Prime Minister.
