Putin and Erdogan Have Had a Phone Conversation: What Was Discussed
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has held a phone conversation with Vladimir Putin, reports RIA Novosti.
“During the conversation, Turkey-Russia relations were discussed, particularly in the field of energy, and assessments were made regarding regional issues, including the grain corridor and the fight against terrorism,” stated the Turkish leader’s office.
During the conversation, Erdogan noted that through joint efforts, over 13 million tons of grain have been delivered to countries in need. He mentioned that it is now possible to work on the export of food and other goods through the grain corridor.
In addition, the Turkish leader expressed hope that the Ukrainian crisis would “end as soon as possible.”
