VIDEO: If Vazgen Sargsyan Had a Weapon on October 27, He Would Not Have Fired, Andranik Kocharyan
If Vazgen Sargsyan had a weapon on October 27, he would not have fired. The situation would have been resolved differently. This statement was made by Andranik Kocharyan, the chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security, from the podium of the National Assembly, responding to the opposition's statements during the discussion on the bill to make the NSS state security service subordinate to the Prime Minister.
According to the new law, three officials will be allocated state security services: the President, the Prime Minister, and the Speaker of the National Assembly. However, depending on the situation, it may be necessary to allocate state security services to other officials as well, but that will be determined solely by the Prime Minister.
