VIDEO: Alen Simonyan Was Right, Lavrov Was Wrong - Statement from the Speaker of the National Assembly
Lavrov, in his statement, spoke of a version that I once presented as the Russian version, or, in more colloquial terms, the 'Lavrov version.' He reiterated that the Russian version indeed existed, despite his own statement. Following my well-known video with Russian journalists, he confirmed that, nevertheless, Alen Simonyan was right, and Lavrov was wrong. This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a briefing with journalists in the Parliament.
Simonyan emphasized that the claims that Artsakh was excluded from the process after the Prague meeting are not true. 'Such a thing does not exist; there is a format where Artsakh and Azerbaijan need to understand that they must have a dialogue. There was a discussion about possibly leaving Artsakh out at some point, but the authorities of the Republic of Armenia did not agree to that,' Simonyan noted.
