Aliyev and Turkish Defense Minister Meet
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev today received a delegation led by Turkey's National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar. This was reported by Azerbaijani media, citing the official website of the president.
During the meeting, it was noted that “2022 has been a very successful year for the development of friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.”
Furthermore, it was highlighted that the ties between the two countries are being strengthened in all areas, including military. The significance of the ongoing Azerbaijani-Turkish joint military exercises in Azerbaijan was emphasized, along with the statement that “Azerbaijan and Turkey will always stand by each other from now on.”
