Withdrawal of Azerbaijani Armed Forces from Armenia is a Priority for Us: Mirzoyan to OSCE President
On December 1, during the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting addressed issues related to regional security and stability.
Referring to the consequences of recent Azerbaijani aggression against Armenia's territorial integrity, Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized that the withdrawal of Azerbaijani armed forces from Armenian sovereign territory and addressing existing humanitarian issues are priorities for Armenia. In this context, the importance of the OSCE needs assessment mission in Armenia was highlighted, with the hope that it would contribute to reducing tensions and establishing stability.
Minister Mirzoyan also presented Armenia's approaches to achieving security and peace in the South Caucasus.
