We Must Work to Ensure the Pashinyan-Aliev Meeting Takes Place: Aghajanyan
We must work to ensure that the Pashinyan-Aliev meeting scheduled for December takes place. This was stated by Edward Aghajanyan, chair of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, in a conversation with reporters.
He noted that Armenia is not retreating from peace negotiations with Azerbaijan.
"We do not consider the situation to be a dead end. We have only noted that there is a clear agreement, and Armenia is not backing away from its commitments. Azerbaijan's behavior in this regard is not a new development. There have been other instances where Azerbaijan has refused to participate in meetings according to preliminary agreements. This is not a new situation from that perspective, which is not a positive process," Aghajanyan stated.
