The Situation at the Armenia-Azerbaijan Border Will Be Discussed Separately: Semerikov
The situation at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border will be discussed separately at the CSTO summit. Valery Semerikov, the Deputy Secretary General of the CSTO, stated this in an interview with Sputnik Armenia.
“Today, this issue will be discussed as a separate point at both the ministerial and heads of state levels, so let’s wait for the results,” Semerikov said.
According to him, certain preparatory work has been done, and a statement will be made at the ministerial level.
When asked how he assesses the CSTO's response to Azerbaijan's aggression in September, Semerikov replied that it was in line with crisis response provisions.
