The UK Transfers Upgraded Brimstone Missile Model to Ukraine

The United Kingdom has transferred an advanced model of the high-tech laser-guided Brimstone missile to Ukraine, with a range that surpasses the previous version by two times, reports the Daily Telegraph.

Brimstone 2 missiles are typically launched from fighter jets; however, Ukrainian forces are utilizing trucks as launch platforms.

Each missile, valued at approximately £175,000 (about $207,000), is primarily designed for targeting ground objects, including fast-moving vehicles. Given their laser guidance and high precision, these missiles can be launched in densely populated areas, reducing the likelihood of civilian casualties.
