Ronaldo Names Favorites for the World Cup
The 37-year-old Portuguese forward of English club Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo, has named the favorites for the World Cup.
“The Portugal national team has enormous potential, but we need to focus on the upcoming game against Ghana. If we are the best team in every match, we will reach the end. The favorites are Brazil, Argentina, France, Spain, and Germany. These teams have the greatest chances and appear to be in better shape compared to others. However, Portugal already showed in 2016 that it can surprise and impose its game,” Ronaldo is quoted by Marca.
In 2016, Portugal won the European Championship title. The match between Portugal and Ghana in the group stage of the World Cup will take place on November 24. Group H also includes the national teams of Uruguay and South Korea.
