Ronaldo Makes a Statement Ahead of the Match

Portuguese national team's forward Cristiano Ronaldo spoke about the upcoming first match in the 2022 World Cup.  “Soon we will start playing in the most important tournament. I want this journey to be successful for us, and we will glorify our country. We want our fans to be proud of us and to be happy. Nothing is impossible. Go Portugal!” Ronaldo wrote on his Instagram page.

The Portuguese national team will kick off its participation in the 2022 World Cup today, facing off against the Ghanaian team. The match will start at 19:00 Yerevan time.
