David Grigoryan Defeats Azerbaijani Opponent

On the second day of the ongoing Sambo World Championship in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, 88 kg competitor David Grigoryan has made it to the finals after defeating opponents from France, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. He will compete for the gold medal against Russia's Sergey Ryabov.

In the 71 kg category, Karlen Mahinyan lost in the first round and was eliminated from the competition. It is worth noting that on the first day of competitions, 64 kg athlete Maxim Manukyan secured a bronze medal.
