No Preconditions from Our Side, Aside from the Main One – Russian Foreign Ministry

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko has stated that Russia has no preconditions for negotiations with Ukraine.

“We have no preconditions, except for the main one, that Ukraine shows goodwill,” said Rudenko. According to him, Russia has always been in favor of such negotiations.

“Ukraine has adopted a law that prohibits conducting peace negotiations with Russia. That is their choice. We have always declared our readiness to engage in negotiations,” he added.

Speaking about the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, Rudenko mentioned that negotiations regarding the protective zone around the plant are ongoing.
