Pegov Confirms He Had His Leg Amputated
Military journalist Semyon Pegov has reported that Ukrainian media has successfully uncovered the truth about his severe injury.
"I must inform the following: Yes, they really did amputate my leg, but right now employees of the Institute of Cell Biology and Genetics at the Russian Academy of Sciences' Siberian Branch are growing it from my stem cells and promise to have it ready within a month. This will be followed by complex surgery, but everything is very positive. Perhaps it will happen even faster; this is a kind of first experiment," Semyon Pegov wrote.
It was previously reported that Pegov stepped on a mine in Donbas.
