Azerbaijan Blocks Flight of Russian Plane Carrying Humanitarian Aid to Nagorno-Karabakh
The Russian Air Force's An-148 cargo plane, which was transporting 12 tons of "humanitarian aid" to the Russian peacekeeping forces' temporary responsibility zone in Nagorno-Karabakh, did not receive permission to fly through Azerbaijan's airspace, reports Armtimes.com.
According to Azerbaijani media, as a result, the plane had to change its course and fly over Iranian territory.
