US Will Soon 'Liberate Iran', Says Biden

US President Joe Biden has announced that the US will soon 'liberate Iran', adding that the people of that country will be 'freed'.

The American leader made this statement during an election campaign event in California on Thursday, as reported by TASS.

Biden was speaking about healthcare access for American veterans but deviated unexpectedly to address the Iranian issue in response to a call from someone in the audience.

“Don’t worry, we will liberate Iran, they will be free soon,” Biden said, without providing any further details.

The President's remarks were met with applause from the audience. Following this, the White House leader returned to the stories of veterans.

Since the burial of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, who died on September 16th, unrest in Iran has not quieted for over a month. According to the official account, police detained Amini for wearing an improper headscarf. During questioning, she suffered a heart attack and died. However, reports have circulated on social media that Amini was beaten by police.
