The Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan, stated during a concluding press conference that the issue of amending the charter was discussed at the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Armenia All-Armenian Fund, and a proposal was made to remove the phrase "Republic of Artsakh" from the charter.

"Later, I will present detailed written proposals regarding the charter draft, as a member of the Board of Trustees of the fund, where the justifications for the mention of 'Republic of Artsakh', arguments, risks of non-mention, and several other fundamental changes are presented, which I believe need to be made in the charter of the Republic of Armenia," said Beglaryan.

Beglaryan also responded to a question about whether his objections to these discussions could have contributed to leaving the office of Prime Minister. "I cannot see such a connection. You know why I held the position of Prime Minister; it was the President's decision for Ruben Vardanyan to be appointed as the State Minister. When Ruben Vardanyan expressed his readiness to take on those responsibilities, a decision was naturally made by the President. My departure is due to the decisions of the President and Ruben Vardanyan," Beglaryan said.
