VIDEO: "We Agree to Leave the Status of Artsakh for the Future" - Pashinyan on Russian Proposal
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the upcoming meeting in Sochi and the so-called "Russian option" for resolving issues during the discussion of the draft budget.
“Our Russian partners have stated that it would be right to postpone the issue of the status of Artsakh indefinitely. What is this based on? It is based on the fact that at this moment, there is objectively no possibility of finding a status that would be mutually acceptable. It should be admitted that this is not a new situation, but nonetheless…” Pashinyan said, adding, “To what extent does the policy of the Armenian government correspond to this vision? I must say that it corresponds completely and 100 percent.”
Pashinyan also noted that the Armenian government has faced significant criticism regarding this issue, but they have simply been unable to clarify why they are acting this way.
