Enerhodar is Without Electricity, Says Mayor
The Mayor of Enerhodar, Oleksandr Volha, has reported on his Telegram channel that the city of Enerhodar in the Zaporizhia region is without electricity due to strikes on its energy infrastructure by Ukrainian forces.
“Today, strikes were inflicted on critical infrastructure and the electricity transmission lines of Enerhodar. Emergency brigades are already at work. The transition is being made to backup lines. Power supply will be restored in the city in the near future. The situation is under control,” the mayor stated.
It should be noted that the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant is located near the city of Enerhodar, on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
