Azerbaijani Criminal Authority Shot Dead in Istanbul

Elnur Gasimov, an Azerbaijani criminal authority known as 'Gardaşoğlu', has been shot dead in Istanbul. Azerbaijani media reported the incident occurred on the evening of October 26, when Gasimov and three other Azerbaijanis were walking down the street.

The identity of the assailant has been confirmed as Nijat, who approached in a vehicle and opened fire. As a result, Gasimov was critically wounded and later died in the hospital.

Gasimov was reportedly connected to Rovshan Janiev, a notorious criminal known for his illegal activities, who was murdered in 2016. The killer is identified as being part of the circles of the deceased criminal authority Nadir Salifov, also known as 'Lotu Guli'.
