From Now On, Azerbaijan's National Idea is the 'Revival of Artsakh and Zangezur' - Aliyev's Statement

On October 6, Ilham Aliyev announced on his Twitter that Azerbaijan's national idea from now on is the 'Revival of Artsakh and Zangezur.'

American journalist Lindsey Snell commented on the EU's decision to send a mission to Armenia, questioning how the EU's civilian observation mission will respond to Azerbaijan's declared intentions to occupy southern Armenia.

Earlier, following a meeting in Prague, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev noted in discussions with reporters that sooner or later, Armenia will provide access to Nakhchivan.

According to Aliyev, when he approached the Prime Minister of Armenia regarding the need for a roadway, he received no response. 'This has become almost laughable, as it is not a large segment of land; everyone knows how the railway and roadway will pass. It is unclear why there is a lack of willingness to grant us access to Nakhchivan, violating commitments. However, we still maintain patience; I am confident we will achieve this as well, but I hope it will be soon,' said the leader of the aggressor country.

According to Aliyev, this matter will be discussed at the Brussels meeting between him and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in November, at the meeting of foreign ministers, and at a meeting in Brussels set to take place this month regarding border demarcation.
