How Many of the Last 17 Prisoners Returned from Azerbaijan Are Continuing to Receive Treatment: Avanesyan Provides Details
The Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, spoke to reporters after the Government session, stating that 7 of the last 17 prisoners returned from Azerbaijan are currently receiving hospital treatment.
According to Avanesyan, our servicemen are currently located in the Ministry of Defense hospital and will be discharged after undergoing necessary medical examinations and, if needed, receiving appropriate medical assistance.
The Minister of Health also addressed the process of identifying the bodies of servicemen who died as a result of renewed Azerbaijani aggression since September 13, noting that the entire process of necessary examinations is not yet complete. However, she emphasized that there is currently no need to apply to foreign research centers.
“Our professional capacity and technical equipment fully meet the needs for conducting the examinations. Yes, some are still in process, and we will soon have all the examination results,” Avanesyan stated. She added that, in addition to other examinations, DNA testing is also being conducted to obtain a comprehensive picture.
