Condition of Wounded Soldiers: Ministry of Defense Spokesperson Provides Details
As of October 5, following the recent Azerbaijani military aggression, 61 wounded soldiers have completed their treatment and have been discharged from hospitals, while 40 have finished their treatment and are currently on recovery leave. At this time, there are no wounded soldiers in hospitals whose condition is assessed as critical. We thank the doctors for their extensive and effective work,” stated the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense.
It is important to recall that the intensive military operations that began at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at midnight on September 13 have resulted in official reports of 206 casualties and missing persons from the Armenian side, at least 20 prisoners of war, and 80 dead from the Azerbaijani side, with both sides sustaining hundreds of injuries. A ceasefire was declared on the evening of September 14. However, it has been periodically violated, resulting in 3 deaths and one injury on the Armenian side and 4 injuries on the Azerbaijani side. As of 10 PM on September 28, the situation at the border has been relatively stable.
