Azerbaijan Increases Gas Supply to Europe

This year, Azerbaijan has already supplied 8.2 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe. This was announced by the President of Azerbaijan, adding that by the end of the year, this volume is expected to reach 11.5 billion cubic meters. Plans are in place to double the supply volumes by 2027. The total export amounts to 22 billion cubic meters.

To implement the gas supply agreements with the EU, Baku has started consultations with partners to increase the capacity of the TANAP pipeline from 16 to 32 billion cubic meters and to enhance the TAP pipeline capacity from 10 billion cubic meters to 20 billion cubic meters.
