The Ministry of Defense on Women Fighters Killed During Azerbaijani Attack

During the large-scale aggression unleashed against the Republic of Armenia on September 13, 2022, women soldiers and militia members demonstrated bright examples of unwavering will, heroic spirit, and devotion to their homeland, including Susanna Margari Grigoryan, Anush Ashoti Apetyan, Alisa Sureni Melkonyan, Irina Karleni Gasparyan, and others. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

“They exhibited exceptional bravery, a steadfast determination to defend their sworn mission to protect the homeland's entrusted borders until the end, successfully resisting the continuous assaults of a numerically superior enemy, inflicting heavy losses on its personnel, and continuing the glorious legacy of our women fighters,” wrote the spokesperson.
