Details of Nancy Pelosi's Upcoming Visit to Armenia
Today, a delegation led by U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will arrive in Yerevan. According to the U.S. Embassy, during the visit from September 17-19, the House Speaker is scheduled to meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Chairman of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, and other high-ranking officials to discuss Armenian-American relations and the current security situation.
Nancy Pelosi will hold a press conference, lay a wreath at the Armenian Genocide Memorial, and deliver a speech at the Cafesjian Center for the Arts.
The delegation includes Frank Pallone, Chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, and House members Anna Eshoo and Jackie Speier.
